Hi, I’m Peter Fulop!

Welcome — I’m a software and data engineer focused on designing systems that scale data science and analytics. I work at the intersection of engineering, automation, and AI-assisted workflows, and I care deeply about becoming a multiplier: building things, processes, and environments that make people and teams more effective.

I’ve worked across Snowflake, AWS, and GCP, and I’ve had the chance to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers along the way.

I’m on the EM / Staff trajectory, and I genuinely enjoy the journey — motivated by value creation and by helping others through systems, people, and clear decision-making. This feels very different from just shipping more code.

This site is a place where I collect ideas, reflect on what I’m reading, think out loud about changes in the software industry, and share both knowledge and the occasional feeling that comes with new discoveries.
